Ray Keeling has been an avid photographer for more than thirty years. While attending the University of Houston, he worked as a staff photographer for the Daily Cougar News and the UH yearbook. Weddings, modeling portfolios and numerous other odd photography jobs helped pay bills back then. After school, a career in the oil patch slowed his photography passion down until the advent of the digital camera. Seven years and four digital cameras later, he is embarking down a new path as a professional Houston Wedding Photographer/Digital Artist.
Ray is a PPA (Professional Photographers of America) member and an associate member of TOWA (Texas Outdoors Writers Association). He has won numerous photography awards within TOWA and has been published in a number of state and local publications. He has also produced photography work for the Internet, including published website product and content material. He has also done contract photography work for Dole Foods, Chevron, Samsung, TTI Companies – Daiichi, Lone Star Christian News Network, Brightroom, Foto-Illustions, Brilliant Lecture Series, Aztec Party & Tents and The Literacy Council of Fort Bend County plus a few local real-estate companies.
He is also exploring and pursuing the new realm of "Digital Art" using digital photography and digital software programs to create works of art. He has completed art works available for sell and is always open to new assignments, commissions or available to create a digital work of art from your own personal photography.
